What are your expectations?

             Have a vision for your life!


We all dream of  living the luxury life.
A fancy car, a husband, kids, a nanny, a mansion, a successful career.
The list goes on and on.

It's a good thing to have a vision for your life, as long as you attach spiritual things to it as well.

Yesterday, my Pastor was speaking on expectations and gave us a little secret, that many people and even Pastors get to church without the expectation of seeing Jesus.

This registered to me, a lot, because on the way to church, in fact from the morning I woke up just knowing there was going to be a mighty move from God in our church service and I had great expectations not even just for the church service, but to see Jesus and expect great breakthrough and miracles.
And God didn't disappoint.

But many times we can loose sight of having expectations whether at church or for our lives.

I realise I recently lost some hope in seeing great things, I had began to get complacent or too comfortable in what God had already done in my life before. But, its not until I lost a few things this season to realise I had to step up my expectations and release my faith in God.

I believe like me there's some people reading this who have lost a lot, you feel like giving up hope and you don't have good expectations anymore.

Well from today I want you to write down a vision for your life. Have a vision board, write it down in a journal. This is all biblical

Habakkuk 2:2
And then God answered: “Write this.
    Write what you see.
Write it out in big block letters
Its important to also keep the vision in sight. So put it in a place you can see, to give yourself that reminder. 
Also, pray about it and have faith. 

Have great expectations. Make declarations over your life. 
Pray for yourself.
You are anointed and called. You don't have to wait for someone to speak into your life, all the time.

Say to yourself I am BLESSED. I am LOVED. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. I AM THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL. I AM CHOSEN BY GOD. I WILL GET MARRIED. I WILL BE SUCCESFUL.

also sow a seed and release your faith have a great expectation and see God work a miracle in your life.

Do you even realise what you did wrong? - disobedient relationships cause delay! If God said no its a no.

Sometimes we don't understand the magnitude of the things we have done against God.  Walking, in disobedience is what will take you out of achieving the will of God in your life. The things you could have achieved if you had only been obedient. Being in fornication or in a relationship that you know God told you to get out of time a go, will keep you in disobedience, and will stop you receiving the great person that God has for you. That's how people get divorced so quickly. You were meant to wait on God, but you took the first thing that came a long, you knew in yourself you were not ready but just wanted the status and wanted to prove people wrong or was just desperate to be loved.
