Are you sure your not a thief?


Don't take what's not yours!

I'm sure you've heard this saying. So why is it that people still take what's not theirs?

We all know the commandment thou shalt not steal. You would think it would be the easiest one to follow. You might even be reading this thinking I have never stolen anything, I don't steal. 

But the truth is you have.

Even as believers, how often to do we spend time with God? How often do we sit on our phones on social media or even to read the bible app rather than opening our bibles? How often do we rush out of God's presence? How often do we pay tithes?

Tithing is a principal thing and not an old testament thing. Jesus came so that the law should be fulfilled and not forgotten. Why is it that you believe some parts of the bible and not all?
Most Christians today, sit at ease and don't want to follow truth. But it's time to wake up and realise you have been robbing God

Malachi 3:8-18 King James Version (KJV)

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes


Robbing God in anything, means you are missing out on your own blessing. When you give God 100% you are releasing your faith and will recieve a blessing. When you sow a seed you will reap a harvest.

However, if you rob God you shall not recieve anything and recieve a punishment. If you rob someone here in the UK, you get sent to jail. 

This reminds me of a friend of mine who stole something from a well known shop, she got caught and recieved a punishment and to this day its still on her record. 

Me and my other friend could have got punished too, but we done the right thing and told her we were not getting involved and walked away, which thankfully worked in our favour. As all the time we were being watched on cctv, and when the security guards spoke to us they let us off. 

This is no different from God. God sees ALL. He sees everything. If you steal from God, don't think God won't know or hold it against you. If you haven't repented and changed from that stealing it will be recorded against you, and God's judgement is more than man's punishment. 

So if you realise there are some areas in your life you are robbing God. Even if you question things like tithing, ask The Holy Spirit to reveal the correct principles on tithing, what does God really say about tithing and study to show yourself approved. 

Actually tithing is one of the only places you can test God. So try it. Tithe and see if you will be blessed and blessings don't always mean money.

You may realise the time you pay tithe you have more provision, have more protection etc 

Don't let the devil steal kill and destroy your blessing. 

And don't take what's not yours.

I don't know what to say

             This might seem like another strange title, but again there's a message worth reading. At least I think there is. Have you ever felt like you just don't know what to say? You want to talk to someone but you have no idea where to start, so you find everything else to talk about. Well, I know I have, sometimes I over worry about what I am going to say or if I'm going to offend someone or hurt someone. I had been worrying about speaking to someone recently, even now, until I came across this scripture. Matthew 10:19  do not worry about what to say or how to say it.  At that time you will be given what to say,   20  for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father  speaking through you. Do you even realise what you did wrong? - disobedient relationships cause delay! If God said no its a no.

Sometimes we don't understand the magnitude of the things we have done against God.  Walking, in disobedience is what will take you out of achieving the will of God in your life. The things you could have achieved if you had only been obedient. Being in fornication or in a relationship that you know God told you to get out of time a go, will keep you in disobedience, and will stop you receiving the great person that God has for you. That's how people get divorced so quickly.
